The sale is at 2 p.m. at the Crawford Livestock Salebarn, which is a large, clean, accommodating facility that has served producers since 1930! Crawford Livestock hosts the Legend Buttes Catalog Sale every June and September. We are excited to present the 10th and 11th Legend Buttes Catalog sales in 2025.

To reach the sale, follow HWY 20 (from east or westbound) until you arrive at 1st street (right next to the Fire Hall) turn onto the first street and travel north until you reach the sale barn.

Can I ride or vet the horses before the sale?
A. Yes! We encourage potential buyers to call the consignors to ask questions & set up a time to try the horse before the sale. You can also set up a vet exam at your expense if you and the consignor agree on the terms.
I can't make it to the sale, can I bid and watch online?
A. Yes! Our preview is live on our Facebook page, Crawford Livestock Market. To bid or watch the sale, go to www.cattleusa.com. Scroll down to see more information about registering to bid.
I bought a horse online, how can I get it home?
A. Branded A Equine Services is on-site to transport your horse anywhere in the lower 48. They are one of the leading and most trusted transport companies in the country. Please scroll down to get more information about contacting them to reserve a transport spot.
I'm coming to the horse sale are there any local accommodations?
A. Crawford is a small town with camping accommodations at Fort Robinson. Chadron is a nice town only 20 minutes away from Crawford Livestock. They have a brand-new Holiday Inn as well as multiple other nice hotels.
