The Horse Division

Our passion is truly horses. From choosing the perfect mating, to watching the foals be born and training the colts-there is truly nothing that brings us more joy!

When choosing our mares and stallions, we are looking for "the whole package".  Athleticism, sound conformation, balance, bone and adequate hoof are important factors to us on the outside. On the inside, we are seeking genetically clean horses who also possess trainable minds and brave hearts. To top it all off, on paper we are looking for lines who consistently possess the conformation and minds we are looking for. Specifically, Quarter Horse mares who stem from a strong family tree of show horses. We prefer horses who have successfully been ridden and trained to prove to the breeders they possess the ability to be willing partners.

Cutting and reining bloodlines you will see on our papers include Peptoboonsmal, Metallic Cat, Shining Spark, High Brow Hickory, Smart Little Lena, Playgun, Hollywood Dun It, Mr Dual Pep, Boon Bar, Hollywood Jac 86, Peppy San Badger and many more. These legendary horses have consistently produced horses with athletic ability and cow sense.

Not only are our horses born and raised here, they are also trained on our ranch. They are exposed to rough terrain, creeks, and wildlife before we ever saddle them up! Using Natural Horsemanship methods, we train our horses to bravely navigate rough terrain in any weather, gather and sort cattle, trail ride, and rope. We can tell you everything about these horses from their first breath to their first ride and everywhere in between. We care for our horses like athletes and treat them like family. They receive excellent care with balanced diets, plenty of room to run and play, routine vaccinations, deworming and veterinary visits.
