We strive to raise and train horses who have the brains and disposition to be superior ranch or show horses. We strive for our horses to have pedigrees filled with industry leading sires and dams to increase the value of the horse throughout its lifetime as well as adding in a dash of color for the icing on the cake of everyones "dream horse".

"Frodo" is sound and straight in every way, with no blemishes or defects. He is mature in body and mind and is ready to go straight to someones program. He is CLEAN N/N for PSSM and FIS on file and parentage verified through the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society. He also is Color Tested EE (Homozygous Black).


Frodo has a great presence about him and looks even more beautiful in person.


Riding: Frodo has a great start to him and rides correct. He is soft in the face and body and moves off your seat and legs with ease. He has been ground driven to start, ridden in a bitless bridle and now riding in a smooth O-Ring Snaffle. He is not lazy and is eager to work. Additionally he is not hot and is a great mix of whoa and go. He has exceptional manners in the saddle and on the ground. Some of his skills include sidepassing, spins/turnarounds, and walking, trotting, loping circles and backing up. He is easily and willingly guided and has a huge stop. This horse will excel in multiple disciplines. He rides out perfectly alone or with a group. Out in the pasture he has been through water, over bridges and logs and seen deer and cattle. He has not been pushed hard and is totally sound. His current level of training is a testament to his incredible mind. He will meet you at the gate ready to work. He learns quickly and retains training exceptionally well.


Ground Manners: Frodo has exceptional manners on the ground and stands tied nicely. He will stand tied all day long quietly and is great for the farrier. He loves to be groomed and bathed. He loads in the trailer great and is an absolute joy to be around. He is easy to catch and usually waiting at the gate if he sees you coming. He has no vices and currently lives with another 2 year old gelding.


He has always lived with access to the finest alfalfa hay grown on our ranch. We feed ADM GroStrong Minerals and Ration Balancer year round to ensure a balanced diet and proper growth for a young horse.

"Honey" is a 2019 Mare we raised by a Peptoboonsmal son out of our good foundation mare. Honey was impressive since the day she was born. She had all the body and substance in the world, with a personality as sweet as honey. She was offered in the 2022 Legend Buttes Catalog Horse Sale where she went to a show home in Nebraska.

Pep In Her Gold Step


"Bonnie" is a 2018 Mare by Bitty Lil Boon out of a Shining Spark bred mare. This is one of the most special horses we have ever raised. She had more athletic ability and try than she knew what to do with. She was incredibly trainable and smart. Bonnie is currently in high-caliber calf roping training in Wyoming. Big things are in her future! She was the High Seller in the 2022 Legend Buttes Horse Sale.

Spoonful A Hollywood


"King" is a stunning colt we raised. He is by an NRCHA Money Earning Hesa PeptoSpoonful son and out of our gorgeous mare Boons Hollywood White by NRHA World Champion Hollywood White daughter. He is an agreeable and trainable young stud with endless potential and athletic ability. He went to a future show home in Pennsylvania in a Private Treaty sale.

Smart Lil Smoke Show

"Lilly" is a kind, inquisitive 2022 filly by a Lil Spoon Son our great mare Highbrow Lena Shines. Lilly was a unique grulla filly with the Splash 1 gene! She went to a future show home in Montana in a Private Treaty Sale.
